how can I go for free?

Applying for one of these sponsorships is as easy as answering the question; “Why do you want to spend a week at Camp Imadene this summer?” Send a paragraph or two answering this question, attention: The youth council at gabriolafellowshipchurch@gmail.com and they will pick the top ten entries and contact the families.

Kevin Tribe Memorial Fund

Captain Kevin Lane Michael Tribe passed on March 14, 2016. Kevin Tribe was so grateful to God for his salvation. He was adopted by a God fearing Pentecostal family, he chose God very young but then went a completely different way for a great number of years. In those years, he did things, he saw things, and participated in a lifestyle that he felt earned him to be cast off by God. But of course for all of us who know Jesus personally we know that is not how our God responds to sinners. Kevin was literally the prodigal son. It was his experience of leaving and returning so humbled that gave him a very unique love of Jesus and God our father and a very deep lifelong appreciation of God’s never ending faithfulness and forgiveness. Kevin talked often, about how he longed to tell others of how important his salvation was to him and that he wanted others, especially teens, to come to that understanding of Jesus’s forgiving love.

It is in this spirit that the Kevin Tribe Memorial Fund has been established by family and friends. In order to honor his memory funds have been provided to the Gabriola Fellowship Church to send ten youth to Camp Imadene (a FUN Christian bible camp located in the Cowichan Valley) for free, this coming summer!
